An Action-Packed Denver Media Blitz

Obama Hat T-ShirtIt’s late late at night and I’m just starting packing up for our trip tomorrow. James and I have had a long day in Denver today. After our 6:20am interview for KBCO here in Boulder, I grabbed about an hour of sleep (bringing the total for the night up to a solid 4 hours), jumped out of bed and bleary-eyed hopped in the car.

We were on the road to Denver by 9am, but what began as a quick trip into the bigger city to pick up our snazzy “Obama We Have Your Hat” T-Shirts (SEE PHOTO - RIGHT), turned into a full-on MEDIA BLITZ.

We dashed back and forth across Denver ALL DAY LONG. I did interviews with TV news stations including Channel 7 (ABC) + Channel 2 (WB); dropped in on a press conference at the Capitol Building; had more interviews by phone with two very nice reporters from Colorado’s biggest newspapers: The Denver Post and The Rocky Mountain News; and finally ending up spreading the word about our mission to the crowd at a Denver Nuggets Basketball Game. All in all a SUPER EXCITING, Fun, Action-Packed Day! The project is off to quite a start.

So I’m packing up in a hurry, eager to see what adventures await us in the days to come… Stay tuned!

P.S. We hope to have some video footage of today’s goings-on as soon as possible!

Packing for our early flight tomorrow

Packing for our early flight tomorrow - I wonder if Obama’s hat should go in the overhead compartment or be tucked under the seat. Thoughts?
