Unbelievable turn of events in Wilmington, Delaware today. We made GREAT PROGRESS at the Rally… Better to let the video speak for itself.
Stick around for the ending… My head is still spinning.

Talked a cabbie into driving us to DC. Refunded train tickets. The hat and ourselves are on the move again, hurtling through the darkness.

Train to DC running 1.5 hours late. Stuck Waiting in the station, exhausted but still editing and keeping the hope alive-ish.

Waiting for the train from baltimore to DC. Feeding ourselves for the first time today.
In Baltimore, post rally. Were in Wilmington earlier. I’ll just say this. We were close. Very close. Literally. Video when we can…!

In Delaware. Talking to the Inauguration team and they are pretty sure they can take the hat to give to him! Still waiting to see how close we can get to that delivery and if he’ll wear it on the big day… Can’t type more. Fingers too cold!
Okay. So we just found out the released schedule of Obama’s stops and exact locations on his way to DC.
The event in Philly seems to be ticketed, so what we are going to try and do is head over there RIGHT NOW and see if we can get anyone who is willing to hold our SIGNS (see below):

Then to WILMINGTON — where we will try to get in and a place on line at the TRAIN STATION there which is a FREE PUBLIC EVENT. Doors open at 9:30am for a 1pm event. This feels like our best bet, honestly, to see Obama face to face.
After that try and get to BALTIMORE as soon as possible for a Public Event with doors opening at 1pm (the end time in Delaware, ugh) and the event starting at 4-ish.
SO we’re off. Immediately. Wish us luck!
James and I landed in Philly as late this afternoon. Immediately upon stepping outside and encountering the windy 15 degree weather, icicles began to form in our eyebrows and our teeth began chattering faster than Martin Scorsese on a Triple Espresso Latte.
We rented a car - henceforth dubbed the “Hatmobile” - and made our way to our nice warm hotel room where we are spending our first bit of available time in what seems like eons trying to cut together some of the great footage we’ve had from the last couple of days.
First thing in the morning we’re off to follow ME following OBAMA as he follows LINCOLN’S path to the White House.
Here are a few pics from our Philly Hotel Room/Post-Production Powerhouse:

SIGNS MADE FOR TOMORROW:

OH, US! WE MIGHT BE UP WORKING RATHER LATE. DON’T WAIT UP.
OR RATHER, DO… GREAT STUFF ON ITS WAY.
